“I started my journey with Behavior Frontiers five years ago as a behavior technician. I remember feeling so excited learning all about ABA — it was a whole new world to me — and how to implement the different strategies to help support our clients and families. Like many of our new hires, I was anxious about finishing my field training and beginning to work on my own client assignments, but I quickly found that Behavior Frontiers has a community of strong and committed clinicians and administrative staff to help guide, train and support me at every turn.
Behavior Frontiers stood behind me as I set lofty educational and career advancement goals. I transitioned from Behavior Technician (BT) up to Senior BT in 2015, then on to Training Coordinator in the following year. I needed a Masters degree to continue on my upward trajectory and the company made it possible for me to balance my work, school and supervision hours. I earned a Master’s of Education with an emphasis in ABA from Arizona State University in May 2018. I continued to moved up the professional ladder to Case Manager later that year, and in 2019 I was promoted to my current position as a Behavior Supervisor.
I fell in love with the field of ABA and have felt fully supported at every phase of my professional growth at Behavior Frontiers. I love that the company encourages continuous growth and I love that I am in a position where I can continue learning while staying hands-on with the kiddos. I love the silly moments with the clients and cherish their development and progress towards their goals. And, when I find myself in difficult situations, I learned that it’s okay if I don’t have all the answers because I have a team of experienced, knowledgeable, capable and approachable professionals with whom to consult”
