Did you know that recent California law mandates that most health insurance plans cover ABA treatment for children with autism spectrum disorder? Behavior Frontiers has contracts with health plans so that we can provide this medically necessary treatment to children with autism spectrum disorder. Regional Center Services

We provide ABA services for children through California Regional Centers. California Regional Centers are nonprofit private corporations that contract with the California Department of Developmental Services to provide or coordinate services and support for individuals with developmental disabilities.

Gwendolyn Stephens, M.Ed., BCBA
Clinical Director

Gwendolyn graduated with honors with Bachelor’s degrees in Psychology and Philosophy from University of California, Santa Barbara (UCSB) in 2011. She earned her Master’s degree in Special Education from UCSB in 2013. She became a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) in 2020. Gwendolyn has worked in the field of ABA since 2010 in home, community, and school settings. Her initial training was with Pivotal Response Treatment (PRT), which emphasizes teaching meaningful skills in the natural environment. She has experience implementing and training others in naturalistic environmental teaching (NET), discrete trial teaching (DTT), verbal behavior (VB), and functional communication teaching (FCT). Gwendolyn strives to meet each client’s individual needs to promote independence, self-determination, and happiness across their lives.
